How Long will my hair extensions last?
Our Virgin hair extensions can last up to 18 months with proper care and maintenance. Our Raw hair can last between 3-5 years with proper care and maintenance
What is the difference between raw hair and virgin hair?
While both Virgin Hair and Raw Hair have never been chemically processed and can both be colored, bleached, straightened and curled there are some distinct differences to keep in mind. Virgin hair will last 1-2 years with proper maintenance, while Raw hair can last 3-5 years. Also, because Raw Hair is more dense, the bundles are fuller (4ounces) versus the 3 ounce weight or Virgin hair. This means that with Raw hair, you only 2 bundles for lengths up to 20 inches. For longer lengths you only need 3 bundles. Another distinctive feature is that Raw Hair has not been steamed processed to create wave patterns. This limits the style variants that you can get with Virgin hair. Raw Hair is also coarser in texture and does not have the same sheen and luster as Virgin Hair.
How many bundles do I need for a full sew-in?
We recommend 3 bundles for lengths 18 inches and under. For all lengths over 20 inches, 4 bundles is suggested for volume and fullness. For raw hair 2 bundles is enough for full head weave under 18 inches, while 3 bundles will give you a full look for lengths over 20inches.
Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
NO! Hair extensions actually aid in hair growth and has less stress on the daily hair manipulation on your head. This allows your natural hair to relax and the extensions to behave as your natural mane. We recommend hair extensions be installed by a professional, however.
Can I flat iron my weave?
Yes! Four Star Tresses is natural human hair and may be flat-ironed, colored and blow dried. We recommend that you reduce the amount of heat used on the hair to prevent damage. We also suggest that the hair be dyed by a professional stylist. Hair dyes contain peroxide, which dries out your hair. If the right quantity is not used you can permanently damage your hair.
Can I cut the weft?
While we advise that you do not cut the weft, it can be done. We recommend that you seal weft to prevent shedding in the event you decide to cut it
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. There is a 24-hour grace period from the time of your purchase before we start processing your order. No cancellation request will be honored after the 24- hour period. All cancellation request must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
What is your return and exchange policy?
Once we process your order we have a strict NO REFUND policy. An EXCHANGE is ONLY accepted if product is returned in the original state (hair seal unbroken or tampered with, in the original packaging, untreated, unwashed, worn, cut or combed). Due to sanitary and hygiene concerns, we will not EXCHANGE any item not in its original state. Only one exchange is permitted per order and must be done in 7 days of the receipt of your order.
Why was my order cancelled?
We reserve the right to cancel any order we deem to be fraudulent. Shipping and billing address sometimes vary, but we will only ship to the billing address.
